Sunshine
Here is my sunshine for DCM little extra.
I'm not listing the supplies I've used, as the list would always be something like this: Card stock, (no name) from Tiimari; vellum (ursus/ margeriten) Tiimari; Yellow flower has been taken out from silk flower bouquet; white flower (no name) from Finnstampper; metal flower (no name) Tiimari; ribbons from my stock.
So as long as it's impossible to find any international known craft stuff here in Finland, I find it useless to make any lists, sorry for that.
Calender
I have to post this one here as I'm so proud of it!
I've always been extremely bad with calenders. I used to have those sticky paper notes everywhere and the calender stays empty! Lately I've noticed it doesn't work very well, as I'm supposed to plan, not only my, but also my son's schedules. I've bought many different types of calenders and other scheduling systems, but always find myself not using them. Last month I put myself to think why this happens, and found out that I don't want to use them as they are usually quite ugly!
So I made one that I love to take up; and, as you guess, it works!
For Gillian: Yes, I did alter the baby stamp, and feel free to use the idea, as I've been stolen so many of yours... lol!

DCM card "twins"
I found this DMC challenge quite difficult, but made it! I thought I've used the same stamp as Gillian, but it's a bit different anyway.

Lottery
I have had a wonderful afternoon with this weeks DCM challenge.
Firstly make a list of 10-20 crafty items you have in your stash, whether it be brads, ribbons, peel-off's, craft robo, dies, stamps, glittter, buttons, flowers, patterned papers, paint... You get the idea! Give them all a number or print them out a sheet and pop them in a hat all folded up.
Next, ask someone non-crafty to either pick 3-5 of your numbers or pieces of paper from your from your hat.
Finally, make a card using ONLY the items chosen. A card blank, some sort of sticky stuff and your basic craft tools are allowed If you want to make it really challenging, list plenty of items that you haven't used in a while, or thought you may never use again!
So I wrote up my crafty things: Flowers, dies, patterned paper, brads, eye-lets, ribbons, dies, buttons, threads, embossing, stamps, metal stuff, inks, pens and colour papers. (I could have added also glitter-glue, but for some reason I didn't...)
Eemil was so exited when he picked up five paper pieces. He didn't have an idea whats going on...
..and here are the ones he picked up for me:
First I thought it's impossible for me to make a card without ribbon and colour papers, but then noticed I've got quite nice things to play with. (I had: inks, patterned papers, flowers, embossing and metal stuff.)
So I inked the edges of patterned papers and embossed "mom". I then added some flowers, and crocheted metal wire to be tag frames. Also added some crocheted metal wire to flowers. At the very end I embossed tiny heart to metal sheet, cut out and added to tag.

Shoping
I went to Euro-store this morning and look what I found! Those cans filled with potpourri, will be altered and re filled; these are going to be nice gifts to give. Basic cardstock I took also with me; 20x 28 cost 1e for two, 12x 20 1e for four, and 8x 12 ones were 20 sheets with 1e! I also got two packs primas with 1e (last ones :( ) and some pens. So all this stuff was only 21e! This was a great deal here in Finland, because usually all the craft materials are really expensive.

Spring is here
There is no more snow in my garden and sun is shining. Spring has arrived suddenly! Hopefully it also stays...
I made this card for DCM :
For this week's Little Extra challenge we've got a sketch, template, plan - call it what you will, and we hope you'll enjoy using this one as much as we have. Remember you can stretch, twist, shrink or even turn it upside down - just as long as we can see the template is there anything goes!
I stamped the flower to vellum and colored with my aquarelle crayons. Before this card I haven't had an idea how to use this stamp, but I think it works quite well here.

3 buttons, ribbons, papers
Here is my card for DCM with 3 buttons, 3 ribbons and 3 different papers. I'm very happy I didn't have to use any glitter-stuff... ;)

Out from comfort zone
This weeks DCM dare was quite scary, even I do love to try everything new.
My unusual and uncomfortable things in this card are:
I used glitter-glue very first time in my life. (I still don't like it, and think it was also the last time!) I'm just wondering why in a world I've ever bought them?
Second, I made large-h free hand instead of printing. This I can do again, it was actually easy.
Third, I computer embossed the white "syntymäpäivää". This was also the very first time in my life, but for sure not last; it was so easy and fun!
I have to say this card isn't my favorite (mostly because of that glitter-glue!) but I'm happy I faced my fears and learned something new.

My place
At the end, I run out of time yesterday, but here it is: My new craft corner! It's quite a candy, isn't it? And surprise: It cost nothing! Green and brown canvas boxes I made from old table-clothes. Shelves were waiting their new life in our garage, I just painted them and they look so nice now. I also painted drawer (witch is under the table) and added wheels; now it works as a side desk too.
I'm so happy this is ready.

Maze-book
Here is my first maze-book ever. It was so fun to do, it won't be the last. I got my inspiration here and learned how to do it here. It's written "garden" at front page and I'm planning to have inside some photos taken (of course from my garden!) at all seasons. There is also pockets to put dyed flowers etc. Loved to do this!
I hope I have today time to add some photos of my craft corner. It turned quite nice and I'm really enjoying to work over there now.

I'm a winner!
What a great day, I won at Michelle'sB-day candy! I'm sooooooo... happy!
I've been busy because I'm trying to make my craft corner little bit more easy to work and get all the papers, embellishments, tools, ect. organised the way, that they are easy to find. Ive been painting, screwing and gluing for two days and still have a lot to do, but already enjoying the feeling that it's going to be a eye-candy too!
Have to continue, see you soon!
